The President of the United States of America couldn’t resist getting in on the Super Bowl celebrations after a historic win for Kansas City Chiefs.
But Joe Biden’s post on X was more than a little bizarre as he attempted to mock conspiracy theorists.
The showpiece clash in Las Vegas saw the Chiefs triumph 25-22 over the San Francisco 49ers.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes led his side to glory in a thrilling end to the game despite trailing the 49ers by ten in the first half.
He did so with the help of Travis Kelce, who came up clutch in the latter stages and ended the game with nine catches for 93 yards, despite a furious moment with coach Andy Reid.
But the arrival of Taylor Swift on the scene as Kelce’s girlfriend this season had led to the rise of some outrageous claims.
Some put forward a theory that this was, of course, all a big scheme to help get Biden re-elected as President – naturally.
There were wild claims that Swift and Travis, with the help of a scripted Chiefs win, could convince many voters to place the current head of state in the White House for a second term.
It’s a load of old nonsense – but Biden was happy to use it for some social media traction in the aftermath of the Chiefs’ win.
He posted: “Just like we drew it up,” with a bizarre image of himself with red, laser-like lights emanating from his eyes.
“10/10 no notes,” one NFL fan replied.
Another added: “Congrats on the win, Joe!”
A third posted on X: “Everything went to plan!”
One thing is for certain, if Biden did in fact cook up an overtime win for the Chiefs in such dramatic circumstances, then he probably deserves that second term – and the 69 million views he got on Elon Musk’s platform.
