Taylor Swift just one Chiefs win away from joining Terry Bradshaw, Eli Manning, and Troy Aikman in rare Super Bowl club

The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to yet another Super Bowl.

The reigning, two-time world champions took down Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in a thrilling AFC Championship game on Sunday to punch their ticket to next month’s showpiece.

After the win, family and friends joined the Chiefs on the field at Arrowhead Stadium for a celebration and the Lamar Hunt Trophy presentation.

Among those who took to the field was Taylor Swift, the superstar singer and girlfriend of Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce.

What started as an internet rumor in September 2023 has quickly became the world’s most famous and undeniable power couple.

Much like the Lombardi, Swift, who is originally an Eagles fan, has become a regular fixture at Arrowhead in recent times, cheering on her tight end beau alongside the likes of Brittany Mahomes and Caitlin Clark from the comforts of a luxury suite.

The Grammy-award winning superstar has been at 21 Chiefs games over the past two seasons and is quite the good luck charm.

In games she has attended this season, the Chiefs have gone a perfect 9-0. The only game she missed this season was a December matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers as she was performing her ‘Eras Tour’ in Vancouver, Canada.

Kelce and Kansas City are 18-3 with Swift in attendance, and that includes a brilliant playoff run last season that culminated with a Super Bowl during Tay Tay’s first official year as a Chiefs fan.

And now, Swift is just one Kansas City win away from rubbing shoulders with some bona fide greats in a rare Super Bowl club.

If the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX next month, Swift will have gone two-for-two in Super Bowls.

100 percent win records are a rarity in the annual big game, and if the Chiefs are to do it, Swift will join an exclusive list of quarterbacks with multiple Super Bowl appearances to have never tasted defeat in the global spectacle.

Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana lead the way for signal callers who have a perfect win rate in the Super Bowl (with at least two appearances).

Bradshaw went four-for-four in Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1970s while San Francisco 49ers legend Joe Montana did the same between 1982-1990.

ESPN commentator Troy Aikman made three Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys in the 1990s, winning all three while being named Super Bowl XXVII in 1993.

Bart Starr went two-for-two in Super Bowl 1 and II for the Green Bay Packers before Jim Plunkett won both of his Super Bowl appearances with the Raiders.

Eli Manning also went two-for-two, pulling off huge upsets against the heavily favored New England Patriots and NFL GOAT Tom Brady in Super Bowl XLII and XLVI.

Swift’s first experience of the big game was last year at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, when the Chiefs faced the 49ers.

The Chiefs went back-to-back as Super Bowl champions thanks to Mahomes’ overtime heroics that clinched the 25-22 victory.

Now, the Eagles stand in the way of Kansas City and Swift making history.

Philly blew-out the Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship game earlier on Sunday, meaning this year’s Super Bowl will be a rematch of the AFC vs NFC contest from two seasons ago.

Super Bowl LVII became known as the ‘Kelce Bowl’ due to brothers Jason and Travis squaring off — the first time two brothers have lined up on different teams in the Super Bowl.

Travis got one over on his older brother, winning 38-35 to claim his second Super Bowl ring after his first in 2020.

Now, the Chiefs are on the precipice of a Super Bowl three-peat — three consecutive world championships — which has never been done before.

Super Bowl 59 goes down at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9 where the Chiefs and Swift will be looking to make their own piece of history.
