Mahomes and Kelce’s connection is as good as ever.
The Kansas City Chiefs pair are currently enjoying the offseason after claiming their third Super Bowl victory together in February’s Big Game.
The Chiefs’ superstar duo recently attended an auction event for Mahomes’ charity The 15 and Mahomies Foundation – in Las Vegas along with their significant others, Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift.
At one stage during the auction, the quarterback/tight end tandem demonstrated their near-telepathic connection when Mahomes threw a perfectly weighted pass off the stage for Kelce to catch.
According to TMZ, Mahomes was launching signed footballs for $10k each for his charity.
Footage uploaded to social media showed Mahomes stepping back before launching a football into the crowd where guests – including Swift – were sat around tables.
TE Kelce leapt up and caught the ball with one hand before running around with his arms in the air as guests went wild.
“That’s what I’m talking about!” Kelce yelled as he high-fived those around him.
According to fans, the person who put up $10,000 also got to keep the autographed ball.
“That’s my boys, go Chiefs,” replied one fan.
“That man can play ball even in a suit,” wrote another.
The celeb-studded gala was hosted by Mahomes and his wife who founded the charity in 2019 to improve the lives of children.
Swift, who dominated the 2023 NFL season with her presence at Chiefs games, was also in attendance with boyfriend Kelce.
During the event, Travis announced that his ‘significant other’ was donating Eras Tour tickets to the charity auction.
In a viral video he could be heard mentioning his ‘significant other’ before saying: “We might have one other option, I think, that wasn’t on the docking.
“Um, has anybody heard of the Eras Tour? There might be a fun game where there are four tickets to New Orleans, Miami, Oregon, Indianapolis when the Eras Tour comes back to the United States. Does that fire anybody up right now?”
According to reports, Swift’s tour tickets ended up being sold for $80,000.
“Taylor donating Eras Tour tickets to an auction with Travis is the cutest s*** ever someone call me an ambulance,” one fan remarked.
Earlier in the day, Kelce, Mahomes and a group of friends played a round of golf at Shadow Creek Golf Course for The 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Vegas Golf Classic.
After playing a round, a video posted by a Travis Kelce Fan Page showed the 34-year-old chugging a vase of beer with a friend.
He eventually managed to see it off but looked a little worse for wear.
“Come on, Travis! That was lame,” joked one fan. “Taylor would slam that thing down in no time!”
It comes after Travis recently challenged his brother Jason to a beer drinking contest where they revealed who they think would win.
It’s pretty clear who the winner would be after the latest footage did the rounds.
