Travis Kelce famously said, “You got to fight, for your right, to party!” and partying is exactly what Chiefs fans will be doing this Valentine’s Day.
After the Chiefs dramatically won Super Bowl LVIII with a 25-22 overtime victory over the 49ers, Chiefs Kingdom will have the chance to show their team lots of love with the ‘Back-to-Back Champions Parade’.

The Chiefs secured the third Lombardi Trophy of the Andy Reid era thanks to some late-game heroics from Patrick Mahomes and the 49ers not properly understanding the OT rules.
Super Bowl MVP Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the rest of the Chiefs stars will parade through the streets of Kansas City to show off the latest piece of silverware in what’s become a tradition for every SB winner.
When is the Chiefs Super Bowl 2024 parade?
The Chiefs‘ 2024 Super Bowl parade takes place on Wednesday, 14 February.
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas declared on X that Valentine’s Day would be parade day in the aftermath of the win over the Niners.
The celebration kicks off with a parade, which is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. local time (Central Time), 5:00 p.m. UK time, on Wednesday.
The championship parade will follow a two-mile long route starting at Grand Boulevard and Sixth Street in Kansas City.
It will then head south on Grand to Pershing Road, where it will turn west and end after turning north onto Main Street at Union Station.

The parade is expected to last 90 minutes, according to reports.
The victory rally will start approximately at 12:45 p.m., shortly after the parade ends, and will include speeches from players, coaches, and team chairman and Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt.
Mahomes has already ramped up excitement for the parade, tweeting on Tuesday: “ChiefsKingdom let’s do it big tomorrow!! See yall at the parade.”
Can you watch the Chiefs parade on TV?
Kansas City based television station KSHB 41 (NBC) is the official broadcast partner for the parade for fans in the US.
The parade will air live on KSHB 41 and stream on KSHB.com.
KMBC9, an ABC affiliate, will also be covering the event live for local fans, as well as online at KMBC.com
Local residents can also watch the celebration on FOX4, with coverage set to begin on the FOX4 Morning Show.
National viewers can catch the parade on NFL Network, which will showcase various highlight moments.
You can stream NFL Network live on NFL.com or Fubo.

How much is the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade costing?
Close to close to 1 million people flooded the streets of downtown Kansas City for last year’s victory parade and rally.
This year’s parade will be similarly well attended, and although it’s free to attend, it costs a staggering amount to stage.
According to reports, Kansas City officials recently approved spending $975,000 on the parade, which is higher than last year’s allocation of $750,000.
The Chiefs organisation is also supposedly chipping in with over $1 million.
The total cost is still unknown, but last year’s estimated cost was around $2.25 million – so expect it to be in the same ballpark.

Will Taylor Swift be there?
And of course, the question on everyone’s lips.
Fans have been speculating if Taylor Swift will be enjoying the championship festivities with boyfriend Travis Kelce after they sealed the Super Bowl triumph with a kiss.
It is Valentine’s Day after all.
Swift has neither confirmed nor denied her presence but it seems unlikely given the fact she is performing in Melbourne, Australia on Friday for the first of three scheduled ‘Eras Tour’ concerts.
It wouldn’t be impossible to do both, but it would be an incredibly tight turnaround considering Melbourne is 17 hours ahead of Kansas City.
When the parade begins at 11:00 a.m. Kansas City time on Wednesday, it will be 4:00 a.m. local time Thursday in Melbourne.
Factor in a near 20-hour flight time and it can be fairly confidently assumed that Tay Tay will not be at the parade in KC.
